Title: This time i´m really pissed off

I usually see some of my images in sites like heroturko, i don´t like it off course, but have learned how to live with that. But this time looking for some of my images in TinEye i found 4 of them beeing sold by another user in the3dStudio web, i also contribute there but have not uploaded this files (or anyone in some time) there.

here are some of MY images being sold by this "imageart" thief.

I have send an email to t3ds site, i realy wish something more than taking down the image could be done in this cases.  >:(

I'm sure it's of little consolation, but that is some truly awesome work. Hope it gets resolved soon!

I've had this happen to me 3 times on ALL major agencies.

It's a disgrace and very frustrating. At least the agencies should be able to implement mechanisms that prevent this from happening, Tineye being just one option.

Now you have a lot of work on your hands reporting this idiot and tracking him to all other sites where he sells your stuff.

You can try to ask the agencies if they can send you the unpaid royalties of that contributor as compensation. At least Zazzle did that for me (which isn't an agency I know but just to illustrate this).

Beautiful stuff you have. I just started flipping through the a$$holes port and after page 2 the entire port is gone. User and all. They act fast!  Good luck to you.

Just wanted to say thanks for reporting this to us her as well (see the email I sent direct to you on this). Normally we're much faster but we have a weekly Weds meeting so this one took us an hour or two but rest assured we always act quick on any issues like this (or anything really!).

I know somebody else from the boards here emailed us with more "proof" which makes our job even easier. As of now, all images are gone, that user has been removed, and they have been banned from selling with us again.

Side note: I have to agree with the others, you have some excellent work there! Just trying to find the positive in this negative situation :)

What about compensation? I am sure this thief had some funds he did not yet claim in his account, why not pay them to the one who really deserves the $$$ ? (if indeed the pictures sold).

Hello:

When i saw this happening was 3:00 am here, working late and went to bed tired and with a bad feeling for this situation.
Glad to wake up to see a mail in my inbox and the messages here to confirm the acount was closed, thank you for the fast action.

Anyway, as said before it's sad nothing else can be done here, i'm somehow sure this person is going to try this in other sites as well  :-[.
