Hi all,

I found one of my image was used in a t shirt site, this image isn't ever sold as EL, and if u put your mouse over and I can even see the enlarge image is with watermark from 123rf..

if any license allow them to sell as a shirt?

anyway I have sent an email to them, but what is wrong with this kind of company?

if there are not uploaded by individual, I wonder where this company got all the images..

It's shocking but this happens a lot. Really a lot.

123RFs watermark is really weak and many thieves don't bother cloning it out and it often cannot even be really seen.

Secondly many "businesses" use images from heroturko etc. to create products and think it's ok because they "found" the images online and online means free.

Small infringements such as this one don't make it worthwhile even hiring an attorney. Be happy if they take the design down and be ecstatic if they are willing to pay some sort of damages (only had this happen to me once).

Simply inform 123RF and send a DMCA to the company and/or web host. That should do the trick.

There is not a membership requirement for anything in order to file a DMCA notice against a website.  Everyone who owns a copyright anywhere in the world can file a DMCA notice.  All you have to do is follow the same instructions Google and Blogspot provided when you filed notices with them, and send the exact same information to the other website.

Hi, i try to google more information about how to file a DMCA notice, but i still don't get a clue. Is it just a letter u sent by your own email? or is it a system you file it to? what is the website address?

thank you.

Yes...it's just a letter or email that you write and send directly to whomever owns the website.  Here's a sample letter: http://www.ipwatchdog.com/2009/07/06/sample-dmca-take-down-letter/id=4501/ (http://www.ipwatchdog.com/2009/07/06/sample-dmca-take-down-letter/id=4501/)

If you're looking for an email address for Comboutique.com, I found it under the IP link at the bottom of your linked webpage.  It's [email protected].  Here's the page translated into English:
