Probably I have missed something.
But I don't see any PP sales for august 2013.
They should appear the 15 of the next month if I remember well, no?

I don't think there's any set date. They've been very late in the past.
Maybe next weekend?

They are supposed to be reported the following month, there is no particular date though they tend to start turning up on the second or third weekend.

Thank you for you answers.
I don't know how and why but I had understood that they appear the 15 of the next month.
My mistake  :-[

You might be confusing them with SS, which I think does say the payout will be made by the 15th.

Right.  I think IS says "by the end of the following month" which gives them a 30-day window.

Right.  I think IS says "by the end of the following month" which gives them a 30-day window.

And if they don't manage it by then, tough, or "Thanks for your patience" at best.

IS/PP have a 30 day window but they're often too feeble to get the window open and sometimes they break it.

They still have 13 sleeps until the end of the month. Have faith.

Seems like all their IT efforts are probably tied up in the site changes that are going on at Istock, so it may be a wait for PP.  Hope I am proven wrong :)

you generally are not wrong about most IS things. But in this case I hope you are wrong too.

Last June/July payout was a cluster. Good $$ but painful to get there.

I've just had a couple of $6 PP sales pop up for the latter part of last month. I don't know what they will be for.

Is it from the Getty 360 deal?

No idea. It listed GI as the partner, but no other details.

What's a $50 Partner Program sale? It was a green column topper from August and said 'Partner Program'. I'm not in the PP but the sale is showing at the top of the PP sales Royalty column. One of these Getty deals, no doubt, just surprised it showing up as PP.

I wonder if that's also part of the Getty 360 program, is it for a file that's not available on Getty already?
Yup, definitely not on Getty. It's a very simple isolation which has only sold once before since 2008.
Let this be a warning to all those who say we should cull old non-sellers.

How do you find it?  I got a sale today for $45 but I have no idea what it was for. No image or video listed as sold today is for that much.

Look at last month's graph, it'll show up purple for GI and green for PP.

Got it, thank you!  So I apparently received $45 for a single partner program license last month?  Not bad.

It wasn't easy.  The Stats tab for August gave me the amount.  Then I clicked on My Uploads, and then Partner Program.  Then I looked for all the images that had earned at least that much.  Luckily (being ironic), only one image of mine had made more than $44.  Then I went back to My Uploads to figure out the URL to get to my royalties for an image.  (The Partner Program page doesn't hotlink to royalty pages.)  Combining the ID of the photo with the royalty URL got me this:

   http://www.istockphoto.com/file_downloads.php?id=99999&PageSetting=PartnerProgram

Replace the ID with yours and then click for the last page if you have more than one.  You should see an entry for the amount you saw on the Stats page.

Okay, I thought I was just missing something that was right in front of me :)  Now I see it takes serious dedication to figure out what sold.  In the old days I just let the sales ring through and I didn't try to hunt down these ones that weren't so obvious.  Nowadays, with a lot less sales I've gotten more curious to see where these bigger amounts come from when they show up on occasion.  Thanks Disorderly!

I got a $6 PP today as well.  The original announcement states "Royalties from Getty Images 360 will be reported monthly under the Getty Images category in your stats. "  (http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=352445 - and ugh, I've just seen the new logo.  Is istock now supposed to appeal to 3 year olds?).  Livestock tells me my PP was from Thinkstock.

I'd contact CR to get confirmation of where my 'PP' sale is from, but they must have a huge backlog. I have a ticket waiting for an answer from 11th Sept. If I don't see anything on the forum tomorrow, I'll take out a new ticket and get a good dose of patience.

It seems like these are probably Getty 360 sales since they are being reported around the time that the GI sales were reported and they are for much higher amounts than most or all PP sales, also ShadySue got one that seems like it can only be explained by Getty 360.  I wonder if the consensus has changed about these sales?

Consensus about the 360 program hasn't changed for me cuz it's my understanding that the program hasn't begun yet.  I'm sure if it had started up there would have been some kind of announcement; and contributors have been asking about it recently.

I just had a support ticket answered in less than a week, it probably depends what type of question you are asking.  You might as well send one now, the sooner you ask the sooner you'll get a response.

Either that or I'm a Z-lister. I'm sure that question is easier to answer than this one, but I've asked it anyway.

It's taking too long already. I don't expect PP sales tomorrow, so that'll be next week, around 28-29 September...Again, very late.

Edit: Lobo stated  "We will push August PP royalties Monday. Have a good weekend."
That's when I want to cash out, what a bad timing :\

I'm close to cashing out as well and the PP should put me over the top; pushing it to Monday delays our payday by another week; us and many others I suspect....most likely the reasoning behind the reporting 'delay'.

Why? The terms of the agreement are that payments will be made in the following month. They've still got a week to complete it.
I'm no fan of iStock's treatment of us but I don't understand why they get criticised for adhering to the payment terms.

Indeed but I'm an impatient prole. I see Lobo has made a further announcement so I will now climb the wooden hills to bedfordshire in the secure knowledge the PP will be completed by the time I'm eating my breakfast kipper.

Because actually they don't? If I remember correctly the June PP payments came through sometime in mid to late August. Basically Istock are becoming ever more inconsistent and unreliable as each month passes. That also gives me concern about the accuracy of the reporting.

Yes, I wonder about accuracy, too. Unfortunately, there isn't much we can do to check it. There have been times when there has been partial reporting and it is the chorus of the doubters that seems to have led to the figures being re-examined.

However, it's just blind prejudice to pretend that the August payment is coming in late - when it isn't - just because the June payment was totally cocked up.  Your observations were more helpful in the days before they just boiled down to "SS good, iS bad".

PS: I now have a handful of pp sales for August 1. It's obvious that the run is not going to complete today (but then, I don't think Lobo's "push it on Monday" comment mean that against all previous experience it would be completed on the same day).

When you're in Stats, move back to last month and any green bars on last month's daily chart bars are your PP sales. There is a page where you can see individual files sold, but although I found it last week, I can't work out where it is now; presumably someone who is actually in the PP can tell you.

If you don't have any green bars, the $4 bump may have been due to an extended licence (Yellow bar, then check the left-hand My Uploads links) or an iS subscription sale from yesterday (or earlier, sometimes).

Just as a side note, for me, the stats on my profile page take an eternity to load, much less to load and then load again for the prior month.  Lately I've been using this direct link and it seems to work better.

Found it....moved  back to august and saw loads of green. However, after august 19th there is not a single partner sale. Are they still processing these? Would have been beter if they just give you an amount instead of these colored bars.

Canonbabe, I don't even have a cell phone let alone a smart one. (I am over 50 though). :-[

Hope you have a camera :) :) :) :) :) :) A digital one??

Does a camera obscura count?    ;D

There appears to be a gap in the data for 20th and 21st (which might spread into the days on either side of that). The 1st, 7th 8th and 9th are a bit on the light side in my stats, obviously I have no idea if that is just luck or if it reflects incomplete data.

I have a couple of PP sales on the 17th, but nothing on the other three days.

I have no PP sales at 4,10,11,17,20,21,29,30,31. Usually I have only one day without PP sales. I think they are not finished yet

For August about 50% of my "normal" PP sales
Missing days 1 2 3 5 10 11 12 17 19 20 21 22 24 25 26 29 30 31
(I am sure that the change of logo will solve all the problems next month)

...There is a page where you can see individual files sold...

http://www.istockphoto.com/my_uploads_partner_program

That pages tells you all sales! A specific page with the amount made with partner sales would be helpful.

I had sales almost every day, exept aug 3rd, 10th, 25th, 30th, 31st.

What are you looking for?  Did you try the greasemonkey script?  If you want to see the total amount from the PP go to your graph and click monthly then hover over the green bar.  The greasemonkey script will let you see all partner program sales for each file (actually just the last 20), it shows the date, site it was sold on, and amount.

All correct^^ :)

Just as a side note, for me, the stats on my profile page take an eternity to load, much less to load and then load again for the prior month.  Lately I've been using this direct link and it seems to work better.

I'll post this again.
It's much easier if you use LiveStock 2, it's a free app that shows your latest GI and PP sales by date among other useful things.

You can also use the script by theasis to get a lot more functionality

LiveStock 2, it's a free app -> And what if you do not have a smartphone yet. I know, I might be the only one here and I'm not even 50!! ;D :)

Probably works for an ipad too.  You can get the greasemonkey script which will give some extra information on PP sales.

Probably works for an ipad too: no Ipad either! I work on a laptop. Windows gal here!

Just did an (for me) amazing discovery: hoover over the green bar with the old fashioned mouse and it tells you the pp sales made that day. Without Greasemonkey!! Still feel that a simple statement with the total amount would be easier. To come to the total you have to do some serious accounting.

Change the graph from daily to monthly and it will magically add it up for you.  The script allows you to see the individual sales for lots of files without clicking through each one, it saves a ton of time if you want to look through more than one file.

I'd contact CR to get confirmation of where my 'PP' sale is from, but they must have a huge backlog. I have a ticket waiting for an answer from 11th Sept. If I don't see anything on the forum tomorrow, I'll take out a new ticket and get a good dose of patience.
I just had a support ticket answered in less than a week, it probably depends what type of question you are asking.  You might as well send one now, the sooner you ask the sooner you'll get a response.

Either that or I'm a Z-lister. I'm sure that question is easier to answer than this one, but I've asked it anyway.

OK, I got an interim reply to this question on Tuesday confirming that my file wasn't on PP or Getty and they were checking it out.
Today I got an email confirming that it was a Getty360 sale. That's probably where the others mentioned in the thread were from too (PP sales showing when GI sales were coming through, a week before the PP sales from August were reported).

(Still waiting for a reply to the ticket from the 11th!)

Thanks for letting us know ShadySue.  I guess it's official now, the Getty 360 program has started.
