Title: 30 seconds
Post by: Shelma1 on August 12, 2013, 10:14
That's how long it took iStock's website to show me the status of my recently uploaded (and not inspected for five days now) files. It's like the stone age. What's up with their IT department? Do they have any clue how much that dissuades people from uploading?

That's how long it takes for their IT department to come once they realise there are still people uploading.

Don't you realise how much IS have tried to dissuade people from uploading?

If the poll results on the right were for IT performance you would have to scroll down a long way to find Istock, then scroll down even further and then click on the More Poll Results button.

Their budget for IT last year was probably four dollars and loose change.

I selectively edited your post, ending the sentence at the word "clue" and I think this pretty succinctly defines the situation over there with IT.

I'd have thought that the paltry royalties and low sales volume would be more than enough 'dissuasion' for anyone. Who cares about anything else? Why waste your time with them?
