Hi all,
Here is a strange one, to me anyway.
I have a shot on IS that has had 468 views, and not a single download.
Now, I could inderstand if it was a nude or model in a bikini.
There are those that would just want a closer look in those cases, but this one is just a simple portrait of a pretty woman.
Anyone else have similar shots?

My problem with iStock is that NONE of my leather or paper backgrounds have sold there (all have views), but
they sell on DT, SS and FT. I am at a loss why.

OK, i get that.
I have file with views that don't get downloaded as well....on some other sites even into the hundreds.
BUT only this one file, that does not feature a scantily clad woman, has had over 450 views and not a single solitary download.
I am just perplexed about this.

that might mean unfortunately you haven't got any of your files viewed yet.
you now on the chart there is that green dots showing your file is approved.just next to it there are three columns and on top you see the letters DL (dowload) V(views) and $(earnings)
I am sure things will pick up soon as StockXpert doing well for many here.
good luck sales

i have a number of shots that have high views with few sales. The reason was the shot was featured on the site. i reckon most of the views would be from other photographers.

It could be something like this - I have a photo on DT that was picked as Editor's Choice, and I had more than 1000 views before the first downloads.
