Times are changing, but i can think of another name i would put a higher priority on.

Edit: I have had several private exchanges with Donald in the past and he was fantastic and really very helpful. Great personality and not condescending at all.  He deserves better than Getty/istock.

Basically, Donald Gruener's position was determined by Getty to be no longer needed and he's gone as of March 31.   :(

I don't know the guy but it must be tough getting shafted by Getty after 10 years of faithful service.

Then again, he's leaving a sinking ship, so it's probably for the best.

Priobably the trouble is that he made an effort to help people and find actual factual information.
Getty, OTOH, practise Mushroom Management.
Total mismatch.
iS is going to hell in a handbasket, and I hope he gets scooped up somewhere he'll be appreciated.

It really is a mystery to me why they didn't hire peebert back on. He fits perfectly in the current IS/G ecosystem.
