Hmm. Google Alert found this for me:

(actually found my page in istock with this "adobe.istockphoto.com" domain.

What is it about?

Probably just a landing page for some old promotional something or other.

At one point, Adobe was pushing stock photos. Maybe with CS or CS2 software? Didn't last long. Maybe they were partnered with IS?

from memory, they partnered with getty, many people complained that ti was too exclusive and then they added Jupiter (whether that was because of the complaints, I dont know). I got the feeling at the time that it wasnt a popular service with many problems, but didnt look into it much.

So do you suppose Adobe bought istock? Yeah, let's start a rumor, that sounds good. Could explain why no one gives a crap at IS. "Let Adobe fix all the site problems. We'll be done with it."
