Hey all - I have ardently been trying to contact HQ (for a variety of reasons) and cant for the life of me find a number that works from in Australia. Ive tried to call the TOLL FREE, the Contributor Relations number (which I found in an email) and the direct number...

All tell me "this number is not connected."

Ha - am i missing something here? An additional area code or something? Really Really hard to talk to somone on the phone there.

Any help, or experience you have had with HQ over the phone that you may wish to share would be most appreciated. Bonus points for somone who has called them from AUS!!!!

what is the whole number you a trying?

In Canada phone numbers are 7 digits + the area code for Alberta (where iStock is) which is 403 and the country code which is 1

so it would be like
1-403-XXX-XXXX

but you would also need a few 0's and 1's to get out of Australia

I tried...

00-800-6664-6664
1-866-478-6251
403 265-3062

...but now I see from what your saying on the last number I just needed to add a "1"!!! (of course!)
Awesome. Will try it at an appropriate time (there). Thanks!!! :)

By the way, admins/inspectors and even Lobo seems to be abandoned forums by this days.

I used skype twice and both worked very well. No problems calling from the Netherlands.

be aware that area coce 800 numbers (which are toll free in north america) don't work for international calls - unless something has changed recently - istock should have an international toll free number but again, unless something has changed, they don't - so skype is likely your best bet ...

On their contact-us page they say this number
00-800-6664-6664
is an International toll free number to North America

so it 'should' work
