Mike,

I don't know if someone here was at ISPro.  Have you emailed them again?  Maybe contact IS instead?  Or Getty?

It's awful that they're doing that, sorry to hear.

Regards,
Adelaide

let us know what you figure out.  Sorry I don't know the answer either.  Perhaps start a thread on istock as well in addition to emailing istock - someone might know.

That seems pretty shady.  I hope you can get your money for it.

I'd go to the I stock page and get a phone # I have dealt with them on the phone a couple of times, and they are very helpful.

I concur. There's nothing "shady" about them. They've been very upfront about what's going on with istockpro. All you need to do is pick up the phone and they will straighten it out. Stirring up drama in multiple forums without even attempting to call is what seems shady.

well,  i agree that a phone call is a good idea and that I doubt istock is really trying to squelch anyone out of their money.   I mentioned starting a thread on istock because i thought someone else may of had the same problem and might have a good answer - it wasn't meant to stir up drama

Was iStockpro absorbed by getty or was it just dispanded?  If the first, are the old istockpro people now getty ocntributors?

iStockphoto was purchased by Getty and since iStockpro was a direct price competitor (offering several of the same collections) it was considered redundant and basically shut down. Exclusive iStockphoto contributors who have achieved diamond level are eligible to contribute to Getty's collection at a rate of 5 images per month. This program is slated to expand to gold level contributors, possibly over the summer.

Hope that helps. :)

Oh, and leaf, my earlier comment was not directed at you.  ;)
