I can't blame a buyer for doing it that way, it cost less from the PP.

This has been my experience.  I am every month making less from Istock and more from PP, but my total take per month hasn't grown in several years there with around 1000 new uploads in that time.

Beppe

PP is iStock's Partner Program, which is ThinkStock.com and Photos.com;  check the forum here for information.

Assuming you're non-exclusive, all your files (except editorial) should be automatically ported on to both sites, though there have been many and continuing issues with that.  Exclusives get to choose what goes across, although for them files less than 18 months old can only be on either iStock itself or the PP, not both, and neither Editorial or E+ files can be added to the PP.

Sales from the PP are added to your account a month (sometimes more!) in arrears, and those for April have started coming in this weekend.

You can follow the progression of your sales for the previous month using this link:

http://www.istockphoto.com/user_stats.php?id=&Offset=0&DownloadsGraphFileType=
(hint: PP sales are the green bits).

or in more detail on the Partner Program Sales page.

Thanks for those links.  I only ever knew how to get to my stats through my profile page, and lately that has been loading very slowly, if at all.  Your links will be a big time and aggravation saver :).

Thanks from me as well.  It normally takes ages to get to those pages.

Well, while you're at it, the GreaseMonkey script from theasis (see http://www.istockphoto.com/forum_messages.php?threadid=352385&page=1) - aside from its other wonders - works on the PP Sales page too, and will give more details on individual downloads.  Very useful!

Script will run on FireFox (with GreaseMonkey installed) or Chrome.

Thanks Gannet77, I like this script very much, now I can see the details of my download even from PP. Perfect! ;D

A tad better than last month but still 40-50% down on 2012. Not good.

it looks like I will make more from PP than from Istock this month.  Roughly $500 total, on track for more than $250 in PP, more like $300. This has been a slow transition from PP being the biggest IS/Getty asset for me but something I have suspected (and expected) since TS was introduced. Shame.

Your dollar amounts are well beyond mine but the percentages are close.  It seems the iS goal all along was to build TS primarily from independent contributors.

How many images do you have in your port? I could be wrong, but I suspect that if you have a small port, it is easily conceivable that TS could generate more income.  However, with a larger port, say 500-1000 images, you would increase the odds of getting more EL's, OD and such that would drive up your income.  Generally, a smaller port is probably more apples to apples in terms of subscription DL's but as your port grows you pepper in the other benefits of SS as I mentioned above.  Yesterday, for example, I got an $80 DL on SS for a single image.

Yes mantis, you are right. I have small port. and it seems to be more tough to get images into SS than IS. How ever for footage, its opposite.

I presume the PP reporting is done now. It is my highest earnings on PP ever, and the lowest on IS ever except for before I submitted there with an overall RPD of .37 (and that's rounding up). This month there doesn't seem to be much of an upside to this low paying subs site except the sales numbers are ok for the number of files I have there.

0.33$ here! wasn't iStock the agency with a stunning RPD? ;D

Yep, highest PP sales ever here too. The PP alone beat DT, FT, DP, etc.

My RPD at iS last month ended up at $0.51, not much higher than SS ($0.45), 123 ($0.47) and FT ($0.48).  April was the first time for PP sales to be more than regular iS sales ever.  This month iS has tanked further so it probably will be the norm from here on out.  Too bad.  I liked the days when iS was at the top and paid well.

I'm affraid the days are gone... We should rather prepare for less and less*. At least I don't believe something is going to change for better, seeing what's going on day by day, month by month...

*what could be worse than 0,08$ todays? ;)

MY RPD at IS last month was  79c  making it almost exactly in line with SS but with about half the sales.
