Title: As low as $1.4 per credit?
Post by: etienjones on December 27, 2010, 08:39
I guess I have been away too long, so tell me . . .  how long has this been in effect?

Some people have reported sales much, much lower than that. I believe I remember one person reporting that after doing the math, the credits for their sale would have been purchased for $.46 per credit.

Deep discounts are being given to companies left and right.

The lowest advertised price is 'as low as 95c per credit', but big buyers get lower deals.
Plus there are old credits still flying around, and discount codes being given out when anyone sneezes, particularly if the site goes down. Despite that not being out fault, we lose out.
It's all swings and roundabouts. Small companies with small budgets have to pay higher prices. Large companies with big budgets get deep discounts - but otherwise they might buy subs at Thinkstock, and then were would we be?

Oh, you're right, the maximum package on sale now is 120.

Oh, you're right, the maximum package on sale now is 120. Though the 'buy credits page' is still saying "prices as low as 95c", which you can't currently get, so could cause some flak with genuine buyers. Front page should have been changed 'for the duration', to reflect the current reality.

I got an XS for .10 so I am assuming that credit cost them .50 or else there was some other discount involved or they were bought years and years ago.

That site has some issues lately, but my biggest issue with them is going to start in a few days.

I just got an email from DT notifying me of a customer refund:
"Due to reasons which are beyond our control, we are sorry to let you know that $0.01 have been removed from your earnings as result of a refund..." :-\

Yes, this is the answer to the op's question.

Yes, and it will be .08 for many in few days. Isn't that bit too low even for XS?
