looks like iStock is reporting late for our August numbers. Hopefully within a few weeks they will have August done  :(

I've been waiting for this as well. Seems they took a long weekend break

Glad to see someone else thinks their numbers are late. I thought I got zero for the month. Wouldn't surprise me these days...

Hoping for a good month. Hopefully they will be posted in a day or two. As of right now IS sales are down almost 50% from last year.

I think that I have sold so much that they need more time to calculate the total

They need more time to steal as much as they can from contributors...

Or contributors earned none or so less that they are ashamed of publishing it.

I just found this message from Brenda:

Quote
ROYALTY STATEMENTS

The payment processing team has let us know that we will likely see a delay in the publishing of your royalty statements, which normally would have published by the end of today, Seattle time (PST).

We don't expect this to impact royalty payments which are still scheduled, as usual, for the 25th of the month.

I'll keep you posted!

Best Kasper, qHero.

Is there any good answers to why they wont't let us know about a sale immediately like on the other stock sites? To me it feels like if they need money at the end of the month they will just adjust some statistics in their favour. Anyhow, I stopped uploading to them in January due to $0.30 video sales.

Just amazed a coorporation such as Getty can't fufill its obligations to its contributors and fails to deliver OUR earnings at THEIR designated timeframes - afterall we are their bread and butter no?

And I guess no official comment (in this day of social media, communications i.e. instant) about what is happening?

* really!

If you are truly  amazed then you haven't been paying attention.

Your guess is wrong. It was announced on their own forum and on their two official Fb groups.

It's because we get a proportion of sub sales, not a flat rate, so the sub needs to expire before they know how many sales were made during the sub. As an exclusive that works out better for me, as my average sub sale nowadays is much higher than when it was a flat rate. (My tiny sales are from the Premium Access heist.)

Maybe getting 85% is not enough for them to do things properly.

They could report the fact that an image was sold though

They could, and Content Statistics aren't the same, but you can at least see which files are garnering interest.

Don't put me into a position of seeming to defend them!!!  ::)

I see no official Getty annoucement? Maybe I missed the link you refer to Sue? I am not on Facebook - so maybe I have missed their official annoucement as to why our stats are not being displayed...

You've agreed when getting access to their forums not to quote from there, and possibly to link to there.
The official announcement is on the page before the page you linked to: Kelvin is the official forum moderator.

How bizarre - you complained about the announcement not being made instantaneously on social media, yet you're not on the social media they announced it on! (You are perfectly entitled not to be on Fb, but it doesn't put you in a strong position in this case!) For all I know, they may have announced it elsewhere (I don't check Twitter very often, and amn't on any other SM), but IMO if it's been officially announced on their own forum, they have announced it.

And BTW, their contract doesn't say they have to tell us by the 25th, it only says that
"5. Compensation
a. iStock agrees to pay you royalties (the Royalties) within 30 days after the end of each month in which the license or sale was made (except for royalties payable on subscription downloads, which shall be paid in the month following the end of the applicable subscription term, and when sales reporting is delayed, whether made by a Distribution Partner or otherwise, in which case payments will be made in the month following the date such sale is reported)

So they have broken our contract if they don't pay us by the 30th, but the rest isn't contractual.

Not sure I care about rules TBH - they will ban me if they want, I have no concern... anyone report if you want, it is beyond my concern...

The forum you mentioned doesn't give me any information...

I wasnt talking about payment, I was talking about statements... I thought statements had to be reported by the 20th?

Nevertheless, it should be said in case someone else who does care has forgotten and quotes from there or links to there. I can't find a link to the forum agreement. Funny you care that little, yet here you are, caring enough to complaining with slight basis. I'm 'annoyed', but I checked the contract1.

There is an official announcement by Kelvin on the page before the page you linked to. I.e. you linked to page 3, the announcement is on page 2. And in fact, you directly linked to a statement by Kelvin with further information, so ...?

1You see if you can find it in the contract - I looked and I didn't see it.
