I had over $100 in earnings before the end of May, but the amount has not yet been removed from my balance. I thought it was supposed to happen on the 5th day of the month?

"The balances as they stood on the last day of May have not yet been removed from contributor accounts. I'll see if we can get an update from our colleagues in finance, but I'm sure it will happen early next week."

And you expected iStock computer systems to work efficiently why, exactly?  It's iStock - wait a few days and it may (or may not) get sorted out.

To the contrary, I'm so wary of them effin' up that I was already starting to worry.

You'd hope it's a technical problem and not a cash flow problem.

Interestingly, my balance was zapped briefly on or around last Friday (for approximately the correct amount, though I didnt make a note of it).  However next day, the balance had reverted to the previous amount.

I did toy with the idea of flagging it to iStock, but decided to do something else, equally futile - I assume the update crashed and the system rolled back and now they are trying to fix whatever went wrong,,,

"The automated system that should have run on Friday the 5th didn't run, so the balances that were over $100 on the last day of May will be removed from contributor accounts at a future date. It's shouldn't affect payments at all at the end of this month though. We will post any updates on this issue in this thread."

A future date. It's the 11th and we haven't had removed money and they don't pay us for days after that. This is screwed so bad. Big agency can't pay on time or keep track of sales, plus the phantom sales that were brushed off as some software glitch. I'm losing belief in these places.

I think I'd be more nervous if my balance disappeared without getting paid. Holding my breath 'til it shows up in my account. When they took money back last year without providing any accounting and I just had to take it on faith, I lost faith in their system but assume I may get my $100+ on the 25th of June, though I'm not sure.

PP for May took me over the $100 mark, so not even sure I will get paid until July with their new system. Anyone know? The payment explanation isn't clear on that.

If your balance was 100$ or more on the 31th of May, you should receive that sum on the 25th of June. You should see the pending sum under your Payment Report.

If your balance is 100$ or more on the 30th of June, you will receive that sum on the 25th of July (or probably the 24th, because 25th July is Saturday). Supposing you have chosen your payment method.

That makes sense. My payment method has been the same for years now, only difference is I don't have to request payment. I think I was just under $100 on May 31 and the May PP kicked me over. I just wasn't sure if the May PP would count for May or June, since in the past I just requested payment whenever I noticed I was over $100, it didn't have to be by the end of the month. I filled out the tax interview, so I should be all set with the new system. Thanks.

May PP count for June (because they are added to our balance in June). If you are not sure whether you had 100$ on the 31th of May, then just check the link to your Payouts Report where you should see if there is a payment with Period Ending "May 31, 2015" with Status "Pending". If you dont have it there, it means your balance on the 31th May was not 100$ and you will have to wait for July to get paid.

I dont know if this is your first payment in the new system, but if so I think you should double check if you really have your payment method selected, I remember some people had problems with that. The link for Payment Information is just above the link for Tax Interview and there you should have "Your current payment method is:  PAYPAL (your paypal email address)". If you have Paypal, of course.

If you were just under 100$ on May 31, then you will not receive payment. Because, how can automated system know, you are stil waiting for PP for May, which is reported on June. If the system sees, you haven't reached 100$ mark on the last day of month, then it doesn't autmatocally process your payment.

According to my records, my balance on May 31 was $99.58.  On June 7 it had increased to $105+ (I only check once a week due to low earnings).  Today it had dropped to just over $10.  I don't know if PP bumped the May 31 dollar value over the $100 threshold or what may have happened.  Guess I'll have to wait until the 25th to look in my PayPal account to see if I get paid and by what amount.

Thanks Kaboom, my past method - PP - is showing so I'm all set for a payout on July 25.
Guessing the OP will get their payment around June 25.
