Hello friends, how are you?
I would like to be a contributor to Istock, how to do it?
I've tried their own website and I can not.
I already contribute to getty images.
But I would like to contribute to Istock with other photos (same as Shutter & Fotolia).
Grateful
Mauricio

Istock are selling licenses for literally 1c or less. Why do you want to join them? Go for fotolia, shutterstock,  123rf, dreamstime but have the self respect to leave istock alone would be my advice.

I don't recommend joining iStock - they used to be a great place but they've lost so much ground and pay such a pittance to independent contributors that it makes no sense to undercut other agencies that pay you better.

But did you try this page?

Edited to add: read this thread about the royalties in the most recent statement. I had sticker shock when I saw 6.75 cents - even for a subscription royalty, that's pathetic. Truly, seriously pathetic. And unlike their previous larcenous royalty scheme, the rate (15%) will never increase.

None exclusive? Well you'll get 15% royalties

They sell your image and hard work for a $100 you get $15 they sell it for $1 you get $0.15

Says it all  :(

Forget Istock! worst of them all. You would even be lucky if the few pennies you earn dont end up as returns.

I know many people that want to join Shutterstock but they can't apply because they require a passport. For example in my case, they did not accept national ID+ driving license (international) + some utility bills. Getting a passport is expensive and need time in my country, so i will get one if I really need one.

I and my colleague used a drivers license to apply to SS.

Please consider that you don't want to do that. Read the messages and advise. Save yourself the abuse and torture.
