yes IS uses payoneer. think twice about using payoneer however, the fees are just plain stupid silly. lot's of hidden fees. i ditched my card a year ago and will never use them again.

But I think they only allow Payoneer for people who are inside the US and they don't allow you to link to an existing Payoneer account, they insist you open one with them.

AFAIK yes, you do have to get the card via iStock, but you can get it wherever you are - however, in some countries it may not be possible to do bank transfers from it, so it becomes like a preloaded cash card.  You can also use it to get cash from ATMs but the fees are a bit prohibitive, unless it's your only option.

You won't be able to apply for it though until you have the $100 minimum payout, and it will take 2-4 weeks to arrive.

There used to be some Payoneer reps on this forum, see here for a previous thread, or do a search.

OK - thanks to all. Will pursue...
It seems the sites that use it ALL want you to have THEIR Payoneer card which sounds just crazy....not to mention expensive!!!
Thanks again.

I use the same card for all the sites and it works very well. I am a fan of payoneer and think it's a sensible option for people outside of North America and Europe.

No, I got one on DT and added Veer and DP to it without any problem, it seems that iStock is the odd one out

Anyway, thanks for the thread. My bank has just started charging $200 for each cheque cashed so the news that iS Payoneer is available outside the US is very helpful.

I've just found out that the info iStock gave me was wrong. You don't have to have a separate card from them at all, once you click on the sign-up it takes you to the Payoneer site and Payoneer asks if you have a pre-existing account you want to pay into. It's nothing to do with iStock, payoneer will just issue direct payments into whatever account you happen to have.

You can get an old-fashioned paper check in the mail. Takes a while to arrive, but you don't lose any of your earnings to fees.

You probably wouldn't lose anything if you were in the US, but outside you get clobbered with transaction fees from two banks - yours and its "corresponding bank" in the US.

FYI I have used a Dreamstime labled payoneer for IS for years - no problem.

I asked iStock about doing that years back and support said it wasn't possible - they were obviously wrong. I've linked them to the DT card now and put a payment through.

Hi Guys,

Payoneer does provide an official payout solution for iStockPhoto, and many other stock photography companies worldwide. iStockPhoto does have their own branded Payoneer card, which I'm sure they offered you, however (as mentioned above) you can also link all your accounts with companies that pay with Payoneer to the same Payoneer account.

We generally recommend this as it is much more efficient and cost effective for you.

The Payoneer card is an excellent solution for you to receive your funds quickly, and at a low cost. If you have any questions about Payoneer, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks again!

I am sorry, it is just NOT an excellent service. The fees are arbitrary and outrageous at times. The services are rude and poor.

Once I was on road and could not remember my PIN. When I phoned, the support number on the card was changed but I didn't know. I finally googled and got the number. The rep told me that she would not help me with the PIN because I must go to PAYONEER website, and request the PIN sent to me by email. But I was travelling and did not wish to use a public computer to log in and check email account which deals with financial matters. It was rather hopeless.

I don't think that's fair criticism. If you dropped your card would you want someone to be able to ring them up and get the pin number to empty your account? Online verification and sending the number to your e-mail does seem a sensible security arrangement.

I'm very sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your satisfaction. Card PIN issues are a very sensitive issue, and Payoneer is required to follow very strict rules and procedures regarding forgotten PINs.

Our customer support representatives are prohibited from seeing your PIN, which for security reasons can only be known by you (the cardholder). For this same reason we cannot reset it over the phone, the only solution is to send you a link you can use to set a new PIN using our secure form.

I understand that this may at times be an inconvenience, however financial security for our account holders is a top priority and as a fully regulated US company we strictly comply with all applicable regulations.

In regards to fees, we offer very competitive rates when compared to other solutions that are available. Services we provide in addition to the Payoneer card include global bank transfers, which start at only $2.99 per transfer and are supported in over 200 countries and 50 currencies.

It is a common practice for other financial institutions to send PIN to my mobile phone, why is it not possible for Payoneer. When I am travelling and need access to cash, going to a public computer with internet access is just too risky.

Another issue I am having is this, say I withdraw cash from ATM, why is it that I got charged twice for a transaction?

Many financial institutions and Paypal will reset your PIN and send it to your mobile phone. I lost my credit cards in foreign countries in the past. MasterCard actually couriered it to my hotel.

We send a reset link to your account e-mail, which is confirmed in our system and the main method of contact we use. You can certainly access that link via mobile e-mail and navigate to the PIN reset form via mobile browser.

Regarding ATM charges, I'm not sure what you mean. We generally charge only a flat fee per cash withdrawal, and no charge for point-of-sale purchases. Perhaps the ATM you were using charged a fee of its own?

If you have a specific transaction to refer me to, please feel free to send me your account e-mail and the date/amount (via PM or email at [email protected]) and I'll be happy to check.

Fair enough, I will do that. Thanks.
