A 'nice' surprise this morning... classic view is gone! I can't even sort my portfolio by new or most popular The essential and signature views are also broken. Only the best match view is what it works.

Seems like mine is still working (Europe), allows sorting by new and most popular and still have the same warning that "Our classic search is going away in a few months".

Having looked at my IS portfolio though I noticed that under my image's title there are five random keywords which I don't remember entering separately. Do you know whether IS assigns these themselves, and if yes, on which basis?

For a while, iS has been adding parent or grandparent words iin the CV hierarchy, which then get priority. Sometimes these are a bad match,  I haven't worked out exactly why yet,  and often lead to properly keywordled files wrongly showing up in searches. Also, 'similars' is based on the top (three?) Keywords, which as reassigned are generic rather than specific.
I SNAFU.

Sort by new still doesn't work. However the classic search button is back now but it wasn't there 3 hours ago.

So in other words, this is done by iS and not controlled in any way by us (e.g. edit them), even if the choice is bad or even wrong? That would be a scandal, if true :)

Totally by them, and we're not going to be able to correct even their most egegious additions soon.

You can do this also in new view. Tho it is not that obvious. First on the top of the portfolio, where you have "All" images click and select only "Photos". After that, on the left side the menu will appear where you can sort it by anything you want. A bit clumsy, I admit, but not that bad. Just have to get used to it.

I was whining about new istock view too, but now I get used to it and actually like it. OK, they could improve few things, but it is not that bad.
