I've been a non exclusive member at IS for many years.  my stock income as been just sort of my 'fun' extra money so i never kept up with how royalties are configured or focused much on the financial aspect.  the last half of 2016 my sales here were incredibly good.  i read the news about the big changes taking place but honestly it's all been to much information for me to sort through.  I can see my sales on deepmeta and they are currently only in the double digits..typically by now they are well up into the triple digits.  id say down by 70%.  I'm looking at the stats page and don't see any Partner Program income.  So forgive me for being dumb but is the  partner program still in the picture? and if so when can I expect to see those earnings.  is this 70% loss the new norm?
as I've said i read the unification announcements..and still don't understand it.
can someone just tell me the simplified version for what us non-exclusives can expect and not expect.  thanks!

They are doing away with the old way of reporting sales so you wont be seeing how your sales are going until the new system is in place. That's why you are seeing odd sales figures.

As a non-exclusive they will now also be paying you as little as 2c per sale on their sub program and there's no way to opt out. I would certainly stop uploading any new content to them at a minimum.

Around February supposedly and the Partner Program and the like are continuing but as a none exclusive you will be on 15% royalty with out a hope of ever increasing it.

I stopped uploading as of June 2016

To set the record straight, 2 cents is a worst case scenario and shouldn't happen very often. You need to let the transition go into effect and see what happens. A lot of situations with the buyer have to line up for you to have a 2 cent sale.

A lot of things really don't need to lineup. Getty can offer sub packages at any discount they like and have said they plan to. It's why the system is being put in place.

I also stopped uploading. Bear in mind jodi is an exclusive so her experience/ goals dont really tally with independents ie. She wishes istock success while I think if we let then get away with this we've had it and the faster they go out of business the better for everyone.

And, amazingly, they probably will, quite often.

Exclusives can have subs sold for 'as little as 26c', which is actually more than some sales from Getty have earned. So nothing to cheer about on this side either.
