Title: Could you help me select my 3 iStock samples?
Post by: janniswerner on February 12, 2012, 12:42
Hi everybody,

I've been a lurker here for a while, and a microstocker for a little longer than that. I make decent sales on Shutterstock and 123RF, but I have always wanted to join iStock, as well. Thing is, they just won't have me. They have refused the samples I sent them, even though they were a pretty good compromise of high-selling on Shutterstock and what I considered to be interesting and technically sound (not to mention that they were shots that no other agency refused).

Alas, let bygones be bygones and try some fresh samples. However, I cannot decide which ones to use. Could you possibly have a look at some photos of mine and tell me what you think? Is there any point in trying? And if so, which ones would you use? All those pictures are selling reasonably well - the one with the muzzle flash is actually my best selling picture - and have been accepted by all or most others.

Thanks a ton!

I like these:
The building with german flags (4)
Shooting the gun (10)
City from above (14)

I would NOT submit these:
Key West (8)
Halloween (6)

They might have some intellectual property issues.

I like number 3 a bit too, but it might have some property issues.
