Title: Deactivate an image on IStock
Post by: PZF on October 17, 2015, 09:24
I realize I must be missing something farly basic - but I really can't find out how to deactivate an image. Any help appreciated!

Go to my uploads. Click on the thumbnail of the image you want to deactivate. Under the image you'll see a link that says "manage file." click that. Now "manage file" will be at the very top left of the image page. Click that, and you should see an option to deactivate the image.

They make it difficult on purpose.

You need to be in the new view. If you are in 'classic view', clicking on the administration link just takes you to a file not found error.

Sadly I just don't see that.... when I click on the thumbnail, under it I have just 3 options:

Find Similar Get a Comp Save to Lightbox
as if I am a buyer. But I am logged in.
?

Under the thumbnail there is also an icon 'Edit Photo' but that just takkes me into the DeepMeta type stuff to adjust keywords....

If this (below) doesn't work, you'll need to contact CR.

Make sure you're logged in and are looking at the file's 'home page' in New View, and click 'Manage File':

Which counter-intuitively brings another link, also called Manage File, right to the very top left of the page, where a drop down allows you to 'deactivate this file':

Thanks very much for that - this really isn't there for me! So I will contact them.
Cheers for prompt reply too!
