Hey guys and gals,
today I received this email from iStock Content Team:
"Dear iStock Member,
The content is not suitable for our broad Royalty Free license; the reason given was: This content has been deactivated due to copyright, trademark or other third party rights depicted therein. In order to protect you, our customers and iStock we have removed this image. For more information, please see our Intellectual Property Wiki at: http://wiki.gettyimages.com/ (http://wiki.gettyimages.com/)
iStock Content Team"
They did give me a file number that was deactivated but no link or at least a print screen of an image that was deactivated. I feel like iStock now is trying to keep us in the dark as much as possible about everything. So f**king annoying!
If anybody knows a way of how to find an image that was deactivated, it would really help. Maybe it's nothing special and the image was not making me any money but at least I will know. Here is the number of an image 3146721

I got one of these today as well. Fortunately, I had used DeepMeta to download my image information. That way I was able to see the image they suddenly found objectionable. It was ten years old, so they aren't exactly on top of things.

You can go to:
https://secure.istockphoto.com/my_uploads.php?page=1&order=CreationDate
and choose 'Deactivated images' from the drop down menu, then enter the file number into the File ID box then press search.
