Thanks for the info, but I think you meant Jan 22.
Wasn't expecting report until Friday.
My Jan total is c30% better than last year (which was very poor) , and 'just' below Jan '20.
rpd (exclusive) $1.85.

For me, December was the fourth best month ever at iStock/getty.

RPD $1.33 - non exclusive.

I hope it continues like this there.

I can see the downloads for January, Pete. But where can you see your income for January 2022?

Oh, thank you so much, Sue!

Now I have learned something after all these years. I didn't realize that I could see the royalties before they were paid out. I have never looked there before.

RPD $0.98 for January 2022.

For me, the best RPD was in August last year with $1.61/DL. Also non-exclusive.
December 2021 was the second-best with $1.44/DL
This January was not bad either: $1.26/DL

A few years back, I never thought that in a relative way, I would begin to tolerate what I'm seeing from iStock.

I guess it's a lesson about never keeping all your eggs in a single basket...

With January iStock is my best earner for the 4th month in a row. It's not close to what I earned there in November and December, but since January wasn't all that great on any agencies, the bar wasn't very high.

And I'm not Sue  ;) but I use Deep Meta and Todayis20 to view my sales.

https://www.deepmeta.com/  which does some nice graphs and stats and is useful for uploading and avoiding ESP.
Qhero works too, I just prefer DM - the Sync downloads all the data and information and there you are.

https://www.todayis20.com/  You download the TXT from ESP and paste it in there, the site reads the data. Then shows the monthly. Also does historical sales by types, some nice pie charts, best selling and most valuable.

RPD video + images = $1.20.

While not a great month, still much better than January 2021. This agency is my fastest growing with a backlog of content I've been able to upload. February is looking very active (interactions + views) so interesting to see how this turns out next month.

Very good month indeed. In fact, iStock/getty was my top earning agency in January 2022, which is a bit odd. Can't remember this ever happened to me. Partly because Shutterstock was really underperforming in January, but also because iStock/Getty really did well for me last month.

One thing I never can't get a hold of are the licenses.

Publishing: Print & Online. Hungary. Commercial - limited rights for RF Content;Editorial - website(s);Editorial - social media platforms;Editorial - Re-Display Rights: In-Context Promotional Use;Editorial - print publication(s) (cover use for RF/NSEA only);Editorial - mobile/tablet apps;Editorial - digital distribution platforms. Editorial rights granted for print and web publications. Print & Digital. Unlimited number of uses per download (In perpetuity). In perpetuity, within the context of the original use
-->> This one earned me a whopping 6 cents!

While this one...
Broadcasting & Video on Demand. World. Editorial - website(s);Editorial - social media platforms;Editorial - Re-Display Rights: In-Context Syndication;Editorial - Re-Display Rights: In-Context Promotional Use;Editorial - mobile/tablet apps;Editorial - Film/TV programs;Editorial - digital distribution platforms. Digital. One use per download. In perpetuity, within the context of the original use.
-->> brought in 9 bucks.

And this:
Creative Agency. World. Commercial - limited rights for RF Content. Unlimited. Digital. Unlimited number of uses per download (In perpetuity). In perpetuity, within the context of the original use.
-->> Earned me 16 cents.

First image was uploaded Editorial, the other two images as commercial. But what does it all mean and why is there such a huge difference in licensing fees for nearly unlimited use (first one only within one country but print included, the other two worldwide, one broadcasting the other one only digital - whatever that means. All within context of original use).

I would assume that the one with worldwide broadcasting and video on demand was bought to be used in film/docu while the other two probably found their way in supporting an article in a newspaper or (online) magazine/blog? But that's only an assumption, and if it's true, I still feel ripped off :)

Anyhow, again, good month at iStock. So grateful for that. They, together with Adobe Stock which also performed very well, saved my January which was a drama at all other agencies, Shutterstock included.

Are these files directly uploaded to Getty?
Otherwise, if uploaded to iStock, could you tell me where you see the license details, please? Ithought iS sales were just 'RF', no more info given.

No, not directly to Getty, but to iStock using DeepMeta. That's also the tool I use to track my earnings. In the "Sales" tab, click on a sold item and additional information can be found on the right. The "Usage" field is mostly empty or labeled as basic, but sometimes additional information regarding licenses is given.

Anyone else received unusal payment from getty? I've earned 98$ in January, so 2$ short of payment threshold, and I just recived message from paypal that getty send me 82$?? And 82$ is unusal amount two, I pay 5% taxes so even I getty would send me those 98$ I should get about 93$.

I didn't get any remittance (whatever that is) email, as I usually do?

Something like this has once happaned to me before. Just went through my old mails to look it up: In 2019 they once sent me 85.09$ even though it's below their minimum payout amount. No idea why. It was exactly the amount that showed in my earning summary though.

I received $122 today when I only have $36 as " Minimum payment not met and carried forward". I have no idea why. Is this some kind of "DACS payment" ?

I seem to have got 2c more than I was expecting, but Getty figures tend not to match, IME.

However, the posts earlier in this thread about big discrepancies and getting payment while under threshhold are surprising.
