Anyone tried Deepmeta? I have just downloaded it and I am downloading the data from istock. Looks interesting and anything that makes istock more fun to use will be good.

yeah it looks like it could be pretty handy, if it can copy disambiguated keywords from one image to another. Is it free software or what does it cost? i couldn't find any info about that
-
I think it is free.

Works fine, uploaded 2 batches of 20 with it already.

I have problem with Deepmeta!
When I try to upload some og my photo with Deepmeta, it doesn't work...
Everything seems OK, I have "sending track" but my photos aren't uploaded on IS...
Also my upload traffic stays on zero during uploading...
I switched off all antivirus and firewall programs but problem still exists...
Similar experience!?

Hi pals,
I am using it since 2007 and never had any issue with it.
I find the application to be very useful, user friendly, stable and pretty fast.
Just my two cents...

works fine for me - I use it all the time.

if only it wasn't exclusive for istock :(
-
I find it very useful, not only with keywording but also because I can put iamges there even if I dont have any free upload slots. I do keywording and then when the slots are opened, I can just upload it.

Deepmeta is a must have for istock contributors. I have been using it for a few months and it is great!
Its too bad they just dont have their site set up so it was easier to submit.

For a start I must say that I have very limited experience with the istock site....
My first uploads were done using the IST homepage interface... And that was a frithtening experinece... The keywording was terrible...
Then I downloaded deepmeta.... It was user friendly and above all... The keywording and categorizing works perfectly and seems to be fully compatible with the IST keywording rules...
Do invest about one hour in learning this application.. You won't regret it..

I like it because I pretty much have to rekeyword all my images for IS to avoid rejections, and Deepmeta makes it really easy to copy keywords, categories and model releases to a batch of images.

Copy keywords, categories, model releases across a whole series of images, for example. Doing all the homework stuff before uploading. Generate thumbnail links to other images of the same series in the image description. It's very specific designed to deal with iStock upload process and the very special parts of iStock. Absoute time-saver.
I've been using it for more than a year to do most of my uploads. It's free but it's invaluable. If it would cost some money, I would still use it, saves dozens of hours.

I use it and it makes my life much easier :)
I just wait for it to be useful for audio.

I think it makes the entire upload process quicker and easier for me. In addition, since I submit to other sites, its a nice way to keep track of what images you've had accepted or rejected there

I personally love it sense you can edit all your photo's Keywords and then just automatically upload them at once instead of one at a time. I highly recommend it for istock users. I don't really uses its stats features though.
