Hi pals,

there is anybody here still having files stuck in approval queue?

I have 56 files stuck in the queue with the oldest being uploaded on 15th of November...

This issue, just before holiday season, is really annoying!!!

bye!

Same here, some images from 13th of November. It seems like that is normal for them

I did have 7 images stuck from Oct. 28th.  I finally deleted and resubmitted them today.  I didn't want to get burned by the best match by leaving them up there and notifying them. (I read that the the best match will pick up on the old upload date and push it back in the search since they will have no views or downloads for a month.)

I had 3 files pending since nov. 15.  Send them an email via Contributor Relation support page on 26th, they answered me (on 27th) :

They were reprocessed last night.

I've got some from Nov 17 and 18. Normally I'd say they weren't stuck, just slow reviews, except some from later have been reviewed. If it was a normal stock site I'd delete and upload again, but I am so far behind in uploading to IS with the limits, there isn't much point. The way sales and reviews have gone lately there isn't much point either.

Still have 2 from the 15th, 3 were done last week, and one the other day so I figure these will get through eventually.  Hopefully before christmas.

Yes, and I don't give a rat's ass anymore. It seems Istock policy is to actively discourage non-exclusive contributors. So be it.

Unless you are exclusive the que is going to be slow. It is just part of the game.

Had one also stuck, deleted it and reuploaded it. Actually had two stuck but after looking at the other one, thought it would be rejected anyway so just uploaded the one.

Hi Phil,

Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, there was a database error with these files which was preventing them from entering the inspection queue.  We have re-processed the files on your behalf and they will be back in the inspection queue by Wednesday at the latest.  If the files are not inspected by this time, please do contact us again.  We do apologize for any inconvenience.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

4 from Nov 17. Another 3 from the same day were reviewed within 48hrs.

I thought they were just saving mine as contenders for the 4million file.  ;) I guess not.

Yes, I have them stuck from the 13th and 15th.  Images from the 24th thru 26th have already been approved.

Strange...

I also have 9 files stuck from 13th to 18th. I just sent a support ticket. It's ognna be bad if the upload date does not change and the files get stuck as old right away.

I just tried to upload three files and they show up with all the IPTC data missing. There must be something going on (what else is new) with their server. Think I'll wait. I know my files are ok as I've uploaded to two other sites and all the data was there.

I had one stuck since Oct. 30th, and it was finally reviewed yesterday.  Also have three stuck from the 17th.

I've still got two from 11/17 that are still stuck in the queue.  My third stuck image (from the 12th) processed through last night.

From support:
Quote
Our development team is working fervently to try and gather and process all of the files that have been stuck in limbo. We have run a script to gather all of the files and take the necessary steps to get these images into the system properly. Most files have been reprocessed and added to the queue for inspection, however in our audit of this process we realized that some slipped through the cracks. Our Dev team is manually processing these one at a time. Right now it looks like there are approximately 400 photo and video files that are still affected. Cancelling your upload will not make the process go any faster. In fact, the file will still be touched by us in the reprocessing and will make the process take twice as long. I understand your frustration with this and believe me, we also feel it on our end and are working our hardest to get this matter corrected and corrected properly.

Please bear with us while we work through this. We hope to have it resolved shortly barring any major difficulties. In the meantime, if you have any further questions, please feel free to send us a ticket to contributor relations and we'll be happy to help you out.

(fingers crossed for my other two images)...

I filed a support ticket, two days ago, by yesterday, they reviewed them all.

Nope. Haven't bothered to upload since the new best match gives new files no exposure.

Plus I'm lazy and IS is horrendous to upload to.
