I have a small number of photos on IS and my Photo+ quota was 10.  I used all those slots, and they're now the only photos that sell.  If I could, I'd make everything Photo+.  There certainly seems to be no point submitting more photos, if I can't also make some of them Photo+.

IS says that your quota is based on the "ratio of your approved files to overall downloads".  That means if I get more photos approved, my Photo+ quota actually goes down - unless they sell, which they apparently won't unless they're Photo+.

Is anyone seeing their Photo+ quota increase over time?

When I add more images I get more slots. I don't think they evaluate your port to see if you deserve a higher percentage - but you could ask contributor relations to do that. Worst they can do is say no...

yep, mine was increasing steadily. But just in the last week or so it has come to a standstill despite new files being approved and sales coming in. Wondering if there is just one more bug to add to the list, with photo+ slots not becoming available when they should...

I would guess that if DB updates aren't happening the slots wouldn't update either

true. It's kinda mesmerising just watching that place fall apart piece by piece. And yet, my sales keep improving (smallish port thats constantly growing, held up by the tiny upload limits each week). Imagine if it was all working properly...

That was called 2010 :) Before they went mad and demolished what they'd built up, to replace it with what we have now...

Ahhh 2010 :) That sounds like a utopia jsnover :) What if we start a petition for iStock to use the WayBack Machine to revert to 2010? We'll even pay them a small fee based on each image we have, however what that fee is will depend on a RC system we implement and change at will. As for receiving payment, we can guarantee them that it will be paid immediately (little do they know that our ASA (Agency Supply Agreement) will contain our own definition of immediately, like say, somewhere around 2050, assuming the zoom function is working properly by then).

:)

:)

Redefinition of payment, immediately and agreement solves so many problems...

But I'm in a mellow mood as my PP sales included two ELs ($24.02 each) for October 29th - I can be bribed :)

wow, 2 EL's from PP? Didn't even know the PP gave EL's! Great going jsnover!

It's amazing isn't, we can give them heaps about all their failings, but they still manage to bring in the $$.

You can - its 15% of your overall port size so you can add 1 for approx every 7 approved
