I have an image which is less than a month old in IS which has in the image specific page showing 1 download against it (with 1 view). But, I see only 0$ against that image in the Royalties column in the 'my Uploads' page. Has anyone seen something similar happen before ? Is there any other place in  IS that I can check ? Thanks in advance.

Possibly subs downloads show on that page, I don't think the earnings do, though, for that you have to go to the subs page in the sidebar. Another possibility might be that it was used as a test download by iStock. Or, possiblity, it's a foul-up.

BaldricksTrousers - I think you are correct on the Subs option. I see Subs Royalty as 0$ but I see a '1' against Delayed Royalty for the same image. If this is the case, I am not sure when the royalty would come though. Thanks for helping me see at the right place :-)

Don't panic - this happens from time to time, and I noticed on their forums that the delayed royalties are badly backlogged just now.
(The forum search is so awful that I can't find the post, but I saw it 'this year'!)

Might also be free credits I think. I have a few free credits currently from a promotion. I think - but might be wrong - that there would be no royalty when those are used. Contributor relations could confirm.

Also - Steel Cage challenge downloads are free too IIRC.

I also think we are not paid for promotional use, as per a contract change they forced on us (unless we left). A certain iS lover late of this parish claimed we do get a small payment, as did one of the admins, but the admin was basing his opinion on a very old document, and the iS lover couldn't quote anything. I took out a support ticket to ask for a definite answer months ago, but it just disappeared off my ticket list unanswered.

However, they should answer someone who is directly affected.

Yes, Steel Cage dls can be free, but I think that is somehow indicated on your page as a free download.

Note that the OP in that thread has the phrase, "an image is only free if the owner allows it as a promotional item"  - back in the day, we could opt in. I opted out when they announced the advent of RCs in 2010, and can only guess many others must have done the same, as the option was removed not long afterwards.

I doubt "many others" cared either way. I know I certainly would not have been bothered - although I don't think I knew. I support promotional use. I tend to just click 'agree' anytime I see an agreement. Goodness knows what I have agreed to over the years.

I expect that opt-ins and opt-outs were got rid of because they over-complicate things and are rather pointless.

Thanks Sue and Bunhill for the additional information :) I have very few DLs in IS and a subscription sale is a first for me. I have taken a support ticket and let me see what expanation/answer they provide !

I thought you'd already discovered that it's a delayed royalty?

Yes Sue, I did but since this is the first time a subscription sale has occurred for me, I was not sure about when the delayed royalty will come through. From your response, I could get that it will come but can be delayed a bit though.

Yeah, it's a 'how long is a piece of string?' type of question.

So, this could explain why I'm showing royalties, but no downloads - these are delayed royalties?

I doubt it. You'd need to contact CR, and be prepared for a possibly long wait, or possibly not.
The official 'delayed royalties' were on the old 'credit subscriptions', which AFAIK don't exist any more.
