Title: ELs on iStock
Post by: Dumc on June 10, 2016, 08:04
So, I'm curious what are your experiences with EL sales on iStock compared to other agencies, especially Fotolia and Shutterstock.

I had only 1 EL in 2 years, while at the same period had about 20 on FT and 10 on SS. Even of 123rf I had more ELs (mostly LELs, but still)

Not counting the extended legal guarantees, I've had 69; last one Sept 2015 and only 3 in the whole of 2015.
No experience elsewhere to compare.

I used to get 2-3 a year but the last one was June of 2015.  They are very rare on FT and used to get one every 300 DLs or so on SS but the last one was a very long time ago - none since they changed the rates.  Too bad.

I had one this month, but they are rare breed, indeed (9 in 2015)
Excluding SS, I get more ELs from FT than from iStock.

I had 2 in the last six months on IS, never on FT :)

I get many. So far 3 this month and it is only the 10th. One of my EL's this week was a file from a 2009 with 1 view and it sold as an EL.Things never cease to amaze me! Istock exclusive of course!
