up 20% for me compared previous month

BME!
what a surprise, thanks istock :)
-
My first from iStock (just starting out in this "game"), so I suppose it counts as my BME ;). Was quite shocked to see that for one image I got a payment of just 3 cents !!
I knew margins were tight, but wasn't expecting it THAT tight !

I'm not sure I can stand any more bad news ;)

Haha! and to think this is Getty/istock!"! simon! I have to agree with you!
-
My rpd was way down, so my $$ lowest month since Aug 07.
-
$0.97 better than August.
Yeah! I am on the good way!!!
-
Down 30% :(

To be fair, some people there are reporting BMEs, at least a couple I recognise as 'not-newbies'.

Think there will always be winners and losers very hard to know what the overall trend is for me its on a downward path for the last few months....but then again it was summer and on other sites things didn't seem "normal" till mid September.
-
I got 3 sales for 3 cents. Also the RPD is very low compared to other agencies.
I don't have many pictures there, I pulled most of my portfolio down when it was still possible.
-
Mega refund...as whinged about elsewhere....reduced month to feeble.
:(
-
horrible september, both on iStock and SS :( :( :(
-
In line with recent low results. Had a few for 3 cents each and total RPDL of $0.53. Sure miss the old days.
-
YAY!! ;D
-
5th BME! So a little bit above average.
-
My 97th best month.
-
Less than 100 dollars with 4200 files, but i havenīt been uploading.
One video for 10 dollars, the other one, a 4k...for 68 cents....
Really depressing.

How does that compare to the difference between August and September in previous years?

How is your experience on SS and Fotolia?

Better than January 2007!

Even i had a few sales for less than 10cents. Not sure what iStock is selling my files for now

AFAIK, and they have not (so far) denied it, the PA buyers pay a premium, then get the files more cheaply, and the 'cheaper price' is what we get our percentage of, with them pocketing 100% of the premium. If that isn't the case, I'm sure they'd have been quick to point it out.

What's really depressing about this, is the fact that despite the low royalties, you're still selling your videos there.

I cannot delete what is already uploaded unless I close the account which I won't do out of nostalgia for all the good things the original istock gave me. It changed my life and set me free.
My average for video sales elsewhere is between 18-22 dollars for hd, more for 4k and occasionally a much higher license for some kind of special deal.
Nobody in the industry pays 68 cents, except Getty. At least I am not aware of anyone else.
80% of my video sales are from pond5 and SS, after that it is a mix of Fotolia, videoblocks, one sale at motion elements, a few at dreamstime.
But if stick to p5,ss and videoblocks that probably covers all that I need.
Video is at such an early stage, nearly everything still missing, so it has a long way to go.
ETA: I have around 300 videos on istock, everything else is photos.
