I thought I should show what do exclusives get with the "Plus" program. As a bronze exclusive, I was getting 0.70$ for a XS, now I get...

I get 1.70$ for a XS and 7$ for a Large

I think I can include up to 51 images from my 271 images in the exclusive plus section. I included all my best sellers yet. I'm pretty happy

Downloads drop when you to Exclusive Plus but the total $$ goes up overall. All my best photos are Exclusive Plus. I can't complain at all

I don't have numbers either. Though it will be hard to make comparison as it's summer and many designers should be in vacation by now. It's a to be continued story for now

Yep looking at my stats at Istock at the moment it certainly feels like summer! Fortunately its starting to look that way outside after a couple of weeks of miserable weather!

Thanks for sharing the info - I'm sure many are interested to get an idea just how much impact the increased prices have on sales, and whether this is offset in the search placement.

What if...
If you put your best seller in Exclusive +, then the customers will buy a non Exclusive + that look similar to yours. Is this true or not?

Maybe, maybe not, depends if the files is better then the non-exclusive + image.

Depending on the search order the buyer might never see the non-exclusive image. At least that was one theory floating around.

Has anybody done any research into the search placement for non-exclusive/exclusive/exclusive+/vetta placement ?

To encourage discussion I searched "man laptop glasses"
out of the first 50 were

7 vetta, 9 exclusive+, 25 exclusive, 9 non-exclusive

You never know. I've got two similars, one Vetta, the other not and the Vetta has outsold the non-Vetta by miles, and is in many more private lightboxes.
I put my best-seller into Exc+ and left its lower selling sister image as normal exc. The Exc+ one is still outselling the other at about the same rate as when they cost the same.
I've been careful not to put anything into Exc+ where there is a rival which IMO is equal to or better than mine.

Interesting. I know my June sales are in the toilet - hard to guess whether it is summer slump or declining search positions.

FWIW I did not have declining sales either of the last two summers at IS but this year it is hitting hard.

This week is going fine; last was slow. About E+ is difficult to tell: some files seem to have been resurrected by the cross, one new that was selling was instantly killed by the cross, others get more o less the same number of downloads, and, overall, without calculating figures, it seems that the outcome is positive.

My June sales are almost as low as BigStock. DT and FT are doing much better, without any sign of decline.

My sales are pretty down also, but the exclusive plus help a lot maintaining a decent income.
