Title: exclusive slot system in best match gone?

Didn't the best match algorithm limit the number of photos an exclusive photographer is allowed to have on the first page of results to 5? Did they get rid of this when they last changed the best match?

I know there's many different views on how the best match have changed, but sorted by best match, my portfolio show mainly my newest first. Then it could in part push front newer ones without the usual number of slots everybody was having. Then contributors who upload more could be advantaged.

I'd like to see the old best match back also

I'm not exclusive but I wish they'd put it back the way it was, my sales have taken a 50% nosedive since the change.

Same here.  Can't wait for the next best match change, it can't be worse than this one.  Shame it happens at a busy time of the year.

Judging from the search results it would be good to reinstate some kind of slot system.  No sense in having the first few pages of a search dominated by one or two contributors with many similar images from the same shoot.

I noticed a dramatic drop in my sales since the latest best match change I'd like it to  be changed back soon. it is too bad this is happening in a busy season.

Not sure, but I would say slot system seems gone´, and with him, some of the exclusive appeal.

Sales down by 40% as well. My best selling images far gone from the first pages of the appropriate search terms :(

Messing up my month too.  Last month was great.  Best month ever.

This month, not so much.

September was a average (normal) month and then this new drastic best match came. Result - 31 download in the first week of september for 9 this month.... That's 3x less. >:(

I just did a search on "Christmas" and found some members with quite a few images on the first page.

For example, Liliboas had 11 images and onurdongel had 9 images.  So just those two contributors had 20 images out of 50 on the first page.

I guess that they will have a nice gift under the tree this year!
