but then I realized it's Presidents Day here in the US. IS is in Canada...do they close for our Presidents Day or do they just happen to have a holiday today also? I don't see any Canadian holidays on my calendar and all of the rest of them show. Just curious.

Everyone is at work today (edit: in Quebec, look like it's not the same here)

Today is a holiday in Canada, nobody works, and the IS Payout Calendar says that paypal payouts will be made tomorrow.

According to the IS forums, today is a holiday and tomorrow is pay day.

ETA: Beat me to it, loop. :)

I still got around 20 downloads at Istock today, which is good for a holiday and for my portfolio size and value. Best day of this month yet I think.

Actually today is only a holiday in a few provinces in Canada.  Here in BC we dont celebrate heritage day or family day or whatever it's called. Istock's in Alberta where they do have a holiday today.

But how many people in BC are working this week with the Olympics in their province?   ;)  I have been sick for 3 weeks, what a crappy week to go back to work when I could be glued to the tv.

Question: how long does it take to process a payout at Istock? I'm at my first payout, requested money on the 5th of february and my earnings are still in pending.
Thank you.

Payment calendar is here: http://www.istockphoto.com/docs/PayoutSchedule_2010.pdf

If your payment was made before the Cut Off in one week, you will be paid one week later. If you payment was for Paypal, the cutoff date was Feb 8, 9am - the payments will be made today Feb 16 (one day later due to the holiday in Alberta). If you requested Moneybookers, payment will be tomorrow etc.

Maybe that's why Family Day doesn't show on my calendar.

My sales were about normal for a monday yesterday, so I don't know that a lot of people were home celebrating.

But I didn't get paid by IS so I am sure that will come through today.
