I don't get it. I just got my Getty bump for Feb and I had many sales where I was paid $1 to $2 in earnings only. How can this be? These are E+ files that on iStock even at an XS sized sale will earn quite a bit more than that. I realize on Getty we only get 20%, but the prices are much higher to start with for RF on Getty than IStock. This makes no mathematical sense. This means some of our E+ files are selling on Getty for $5 if $1 is 20% of the sale price. Can this be true? Are we getting hood winked here?

No, this is correct. Getty often sells at much lower price points than istock.

Which is why so many people are scared of getty360 if more customers are moving to getty, away from istock.

The prices on the Getty website are just a list price, what customers actually pay is completly different. You will get a few 60 or 80 dollar results also though, but you might find that the average royalty on getty is far below your average royalty for e+ or vetta/agency on istock.

There migh also be variations with portfolio style, maybe some people are lucky and always get extremly high payouts. I saw one lady claim her average royalty from getty is 80 dollars. But I have never heard anyone else say that. It seems to be something around 10-16 dollars for the people I spoke with. But they all had many tiny amounts inbetween.

And the smoke and mirrors of Getty math and screwing over of photographers continues...

FWIW, I have had GI sales in the range of a couple of dollars, but I also had others in the equivalent of ELs.

BME for GI sales, BME for GI Refunds, but still enough to compensate the huge drop of IS sales...

Intresting to see, reading the forums, that a lot of people are happy with the Getty sales and they are pushing more and more images to E+. Yes, the Getty sales will increase, but what is going to happen to the iStock sales? I bet they will go down more and more. At the end, iStock will be just another Getty collection.

It's not all one dollar sales, I had a few $100+ and a lot of $ 50+ ones.  The overall RPD is higher from Getty by 2x than IStock at about $20.

Congratulations that your RPD is double that of istock. I was with getty for 4 years and I was never that lucky. I do wonder, if your results are so good, why don´t you upload to getty only? If you are such a successful shooter they will certainly give you a place in their house program and then you can also send images to their RM program. That is definetly a real advantage because they probably have the biggest RM program of anyone on the market.

For me it was obvious that I was getting more for sales on istock. So I stopped uploading to Getty 18 months ago. But maybe my style just wasn´t the right one for them.

When I was uploading to Getty directly a few years ago, the RPI and RPD exceeded my iStock collection. However, when Getty started going overboard with the editing, I pretty much stopped uploading directly there. Getty/E+ RPI seems lower than what I got a few years ago uploading directly.
