So, compared to Jan 2020: dls +35%, $$ +50%
Compared to Feb 2019: dls +20%, $$ -21% (rpd -35%)
Still, better $$ than eight months of last year, and $$ +22% on Feb 2018.

I have heard they are licensing the free Unsplash content for a monthly fee.

in practice they are giving free our work...i think is better remove images, so not to hurt our sales on good site....the problem are people who won't remove their images even when rpd fall to 0,05 cent and they make 5 dollar every one hundred sales.

That's the same argument I used to say about SS etc. when iS was trying to raise prices, and people didn't like it.

all you can do is remove your port to not lose any sale at agency that treat you right...

Strange month indeed - fewest DL's in over a year but the highest RPD $1.07- mostly due to 4 higher dollar sales.

(still don't send them new work)

what do you think will happen? more 0,03 for video sales or starting to see sales like 0,001 for you? And you won't remove port right? At some point i rather wash stairs of buildings for 25/30 an hour.

I think Its time for clients to shoot their own footage or hired people for that purpose. They need footage but not hire because is less expensive to buy online. if they cannot find online...what do you think will happen?

i can guarantee that clients and microstock sites will not wash stairs. They hire people to do it.  :-)

At the same time I had 2 videos at $0.03, I had 2 videos sales for $11.00. My RPD in February on iStock is $0.93 and my year RPD in 2019 is $0,54. This is quite close to my RPD on SS. But, like others, I hate those $0.03 or lower sales. I was used to it for images but not for videos.

I stopped uploading new files a year ago. But IS is still 15% of my revenues when SS is 25%. This is why I didn't remove my port on IS.
I dont think buyers on  IS will buy my work on others Microstock if I remove my port on IS. My work is not enough "unique".

I don't know what to do.

SS used to be fine to me, not anymore since summer. And IS with this 0.0 sales...

You bet your life, you're right Groucho.  ;)

I stopped uploading a while back, I might have sent some test images, illustrations, in 2019. I don't think that what I have is so different that they can't find something else. Many buyers are agency customers, they don't shop.

For example, a graphic design agency, had a multi-seat account, all the artists used iStock and no other. Which means the biggest users and repeat buyers, might never look at any other Microstock site.

Unlike you and some others, if I closed my Getty account, that wouldn't hurt my income or lifestyle one bit. I'm just too lazy to take the time, so I collect the pittance that they send me every year. I might change my mind and upload or maybe just shut down. So far doing nothing hasn't helped or harmed me.

It seems like an incredibly high wage for stair washing right enough.
