This week i have had 8 files which have sold for the first time.6 of those have only recently appeared in my portfolio.
The last sale tonight excited me more than the others because i thought about jesus feeding the 5000, so i...
I bought two rainbow trout and 5 loaves from the supermarket and took them on a 50 minute car journey to Barnard Castle where i photographed them with my king  james bible on a nice large rock with the quiet river tees in the background.
What file that had a first sale excited you...

One file getting a download doesn't excite me (anymore). Closest to excitement is when a file gets like 10 downloads on SS on the first day online or when a whole icon series get's downloaded on IS. EL also I guess.

I still get excited when a new image on iStock hits over 5 sales per month. I have many like that on SS also but their stat report is so bad it's nearly impossible to track any results there.

I posted something in the spring.  It was approved on a Monday on SS and the next morning it had its first sale - an EL.  It sells now and then, but I sure had high hopes when the first sale was a big one, and within 24 hours.

I got a guy at work to pose in a hard hat and green vest on wednesday. It was accepted on saturday and got its first sale yesterday...
Then you get an inane rejection notice...although istock accepts lense flare we found this did not add anything to this file.* it was a close up of a guy welding and the flare was the arc of the electrode!
