I've been with istock for about 6 weeks now. I'm noticing on the app that I have a number of views but the app (iphone) shows zero sales. I've also seen on here that they are behind on sales numbers/ take a month or more to display.
I've dowloaded the deepmeta software for my laptop recently out of curiosity and I see that it also shows no sales.
My question is, might I have sales that haven't posted yet? Just seems weird I have like 50 "views" on the app but no sales. What is a "view"? Someone clicks on your image for further scrutiny? Also what is a board? it shows a few images have been on "boards" but again no sales registered.

My advice would be take no notice of their so called "stats" no one least of all I-stock knows whats going on.

iStock reports sales with roughly one month delay. Meaning: sales report of April will be available on the 20th of May.
So in the app or DeepMeta, only sales from March or previous months will be reported, and for April only views will be reported until the sales report is also available.
Chances are high that a portion of your views converted into sales.

Normally, no stat on iS agrees with any other stat.
"They are pulled from different sources" (Yeah, makes no sense.)
Not only are sales reported a month in arrears, subs can be carried forward, so sub sales aren't calculated until the sub has expired, then the sales under that sub are divvied up.
You either have to trust them, or not. ::) :(
