I've been a contributor at both Getty Moment and Istock for several years but rarely upload to Getty.  Like everyone, Im looking for options to increase me sales.  My question is since they are working together does it make sense to submit to both OR is it redundant?  Also, do Getty Moment uploads need to be exclusive?

Don't you have access to that info?

Didn't you have to sign some sort of very wordy contract when you signed up?

So, it's a closely guarded secret?
A contributor didn't know, and ten minutes Googling didn't turn up the T&C.

I didn't use my timer because it would have taken longer to turn it on than rather Google it to find this:
http://contributors.gettyimages.com/article_public.aspx?article_id=2719#3

Quote from section 3 (Contract basis): "Only Getty Images may license the images and Similars (defined in the Agreement and FAQ) you place with us while the Agreement is in effect (Getty Images will have exclusive licensing rights)."

The info is on the Getty Contributor website.

Yes, I see Michael's link above.
Still, it wasn't easy (for me) to find there or by googling.
I thought because I didn't find it and the info was sent by SM instead of posting on here that it was maybe confidential to those already within the system, even though someone already submitting there didn't know either.

my confusion is because of a statement another contributor posted on another site.   I thought with the merge there may have been a policy change.  I posted this same question here and on getty moment.  received quick response from richards@getty and another member who confirmed as stated above.  no change..no similars.  thanks :)
