Title: Getty PP program?
Post by: fritz on October 22, 2012, 18:45
I found couple of my images on the web signed by my name/getty images. As I know Getty PP program works only for exclusives or maybe I'm wrong.
Any idea?

I also thought it was only exclusives (and they're not doing well at porting the relevant files over, despite months of honeyed promises) - could they have been ingested via the Flickr programme?

Maybe they got from Photos.com or Thinkstock and, being Getty companys, the put "Getty". Or may (I hope not) someone stole your image and uploaded it to Getty. Try Googe Image Search with the image.

It's probably not stolen if it has the OP's name on it at Getty.

No, it's not stolen not on bloomberg.com. Probably  they got them from Photos.com or Thinkstock.com or iStock. Who knows!
