I normally don't look at what I am paid on GI sales, but this month I had a look over various past months and noticed that on many sales I was paid less than $0.20 per download. How can this be? These aren't supposed to be sub or partner sales. Do other people experience the same low royalties on GI sales? This is even lower than what Shutterstock pays on sub sales.

I'm a Getty moment contributor. I checked my reports for last 6 months. Recorded minimum is $0.40. These are exclusive images, we should at least get paid $1 per download.

What sort of contract you are having with them? Are you a Getty moment contributor?

Yup
Ditto under 28 cent GI sales

Getty is paying even lower than $0.10 on downloads of exclusive content? Why not just give people's images away for free. Oh wait, they already do that too. Never mind. Well, looks like Getty contributors aren't in it for the money either. Guess lens cap lovers can be found everywhere.

I might have misled you... Those are G.I. Connect (Monthly) sales through IS. Not exclusive of course.

Ah, OK. Thanks for the explanation.
