Author Topic: Green and Purple Bars coming to IS? (AKA PP started for THIS MONTH ?) (Read 11525 times)

Be the first to post that you have received a green or purple bar and credit for January sales. I just figured it was about time for this to start happening. Last Monday of Feb.

Still hoping that the re-alignment of the sub-agencies will speed this up or end the long delayed reporting practices.

Nothing for me yet. I guess I made so much with pp that they need a super computer to crunch my earnings and that simply takes more time.

Nothing yet, yes it is before of the month they said, but that's not fun to get them after the last payment deadline of the next month !

Wow I just went and there are a slew of purple bars for me. Of course that's quarters from Getty, for audio DLs, but all the way to the end of January.

Might be good news for the rest of the people. That payments will be showing up soon.

Looking back, it seems that the 28 days of Feb caught them unawares last year, and they didn't make the Getty image payments until sometime after 3rd March.

I can agree with that. Someone in the finance office, "Oh look, February only has 28 days... how the heck did that happen. Now what do we do..." Surprise, Surprise, it happens every year but they probably are caught unaware.

I got my Getty credits, nothing from TS, and when those green bars start, it takes days, they come in spurts and dribbles. Sometimes the end of the month, before the middle. SNAFU

They need a super computer to 'Claw' back all your PP earnings

Nothing here yet. I don't know when they plan to make the deductions for the clawback, but I hope it is taken from the PP earnings. Payout requests the other weeks are so low now that many of them would not enough to take the deduction from.

So if the clawback is taken only from PP earnings then I bet they are still tweaking the software for the PP payout. They will almost certainly miss the payout by the end of February with their glacial speed.

If the original error was at the Thinkstock and/or Photos site(s) then it makes sense that the clawback correction would need to also be done there. Hence the need to spread out the recovery across many months as they could not well predict an account balance big enough to recover the funds in any given month. Having a negative account balance may not well work with the PP accounting software. Hence also the need to forgive the account errors under $10 as accounts may tend to go negative on these sporadic lower sales accounts.

ETA: The money pipe likely was designed to only go from the PP sites into iStock. So any PP negative balances likely have no mechanism to flow money from iStock and back to the PP's. *!@^#%$ Software!

They always repeating it's gonna happen before the end of the month ! I bet it gonna begun the last day of februrary .... they can't even tell us if it will be done or not. very big lack of information and it's getting worst and worst, they even delete our questions on the forums

12 PP sales for 1 and 2 januar till now and again only 0.28$ sales, no on demand. that is only on istock...

Is there any way i can see januar PP sales together ?

The PP has started- Don't cash it out! Put in in into an interest bearing investment and when they ask for it back at least you have made some money

All of my GI sales showed up on Monday. Started getting TS last night late, after Midnight, which was the first I looked since 6PM.

Agree. So far the numbers are unusually low. Bearing in mind the first couple of weeks of January are generally slow as people return from holiday breaks, I will hold off on drawing any conclusions until the January reporting is finished.
