Has anybody had a subscription sale on IS yet?
I've looked at my best sellers but haven't found any.

I have had one, on Sunday - easier to notice as it's so slow over the weekend. The money didn't appear until after midnight last night (i.e. one day longer than I thought, but according to the IS forums they're working out glitches and you won't always get the cash at midnight on the day of the sale).

I had a medium sell for 95 cents commission - I looked at a recent range of medium per credit sales and they were from 88 cents to $1.50. I'm content with those prices as long as the volume picks up a bit.

How do you tell if a DL was a Sub?  I've looked through the site and can't seem to figure out how to tell a regular DL form a Sub?  Someone please tell me!

Just look at the statistics page for each image. There are different symbols for credit and subs sales.

When it's in the "pending" state, you can't easily tell. The file shows up in your recent downloads list, but the money doesn't increase. In my case (a) it was a Sunday, so the sales were few and (b) the file that got downloaded had only had 2 prior downloads, and I looked when I saw it got a 3rd as its total royalty was so small.

When you look at that file's download page, you won't see anything for the current date; then you have to click on the royalty pending button and you'll see the size and date of the download, but not an amount.

Once the royalty is computed, the sale shows up on that file's download page just like the others, but it's a butterfly instead of a leaf on the left of the entry.

Thanks for the feedback.  I wonder how long it will be before they get proper stats on this.

Not yet. Not sure if that's good or bad at this point.

I don't know how it could be bad.  Sub sales at IS pay as much or more than credit based sales.  I like subscriptions for the most part as is, but IS's version is clearly the best for contributors.
