If I'm an exclusive in IS, and I have same image but shooted by two cameras, and I send one to IS another to others, is it allowed?

Sure, why not.  It's a 'make up your own rules' attitude over there these days.

JK.  Of course not.  It's artist exclusivity (supposedly).  Not camera exclusivity.

"you can do that"

just make sure you do a photoshoot for one agency and other for the others, there are plenty doing such, I know a few, mostly Chinese guys, there is one I said that I would report him and he doesn't even reply, some people believe they are at the top of the world but one day they will fall

Exclusive means you only submit rf images with them and for that you get a few extra beans per image.

If you change your name to 'Yuri' then it will be fine __ you can even use the same camera then too.

I seem to remember reading a thread about whether a photographer could simultaneously be a member of two legal entities - for example

1 - an exclusive contributor at iStock    and
2 - a partner in another company (e.g. with a family member), which company could contribute as an independent to multiple sites.

Of course, my memory could be flawed...  I also seem to remember that iStock wanted to vet all such enterprises on a case-by-case basis....

Maybe somebody with a memory could elucidate...

Regards

There is a guy from Denmark who has a clone. Their port was also cloned. So, the guy went exclusive recently but his clone didn't. The clone is doing fine on Dreamstime and at some other places. Obviously, they are two different entities.

No clone! They simply are in a parallel universe thus only one person according to the theory... ;)

What if the images are similar (from the same shoot of the same model) but not exaclty the same. e.g defferent posse and angles? Can you submit different photos from the same shoot as an 'exclusive' image to different sites like cutcaster, fotolia, dreamstime, istock etc. a couple to each site?

yes, lol..especially for IS EX...
like Lius pointed out that some guys even used same models( defferent posse and angles), same post editing skills, lolol, but they just ignore it, a  big joke for IS  ;D

Under the UK trade descriptions act, IS could have problems if they are selling images as exclusive, whilst the same image is available elsewhere.

If that's actually happening and Istock finds out, it's almost certainly going to result in that person being banned.

have you ever wondered that iStock doesn't give a f***? sure they know who do this and they don't care, I know 2 guys that I have found out while doing keywording / searches and decided to email them, not even a reply

one of them, I told him that if he doesn't stopped uploading to SS that I would report him, he stopped for a few months but is back uploading, his profile picture at iStock is selling at SS, sure he will say its his wife shooting, bla bla bla, there are a lot of "smart" people in this business and agencies don't care and never will

I'm not sure I understand you, are you saying you contacted Istock or the photographer?
