When submitting photos through ESP, I cannot find any way of marking them as editorial. Has anyone else found the editorial option (if indeed there is one)? I have submitted some editorial images but the only thing I could do is fill in the standard caption with the location, date etc and just hope that they're  accepted as editorial. Though who knows, they could be accepted as commercial which wouldn't be good (no release attached.)

Look at the top left, when you create whole batch, you can decide if it is going to be iStock Creative Image or iStock Editorial Image

Thanks for that - I was looking all over the place for that option. Ive located the last bunch of images that Ive submitted. I'll try deleting some of the ones that are pending for review. I want to delete the ones intended for editorial and resubmit them the proper way.

Okay one of the images refuses to delete. I don't know why. Every time I click on 'Delete', I get a message that says: "Are you sure you want to delete the selected 1 file(s)?" But no matter how many times I click 'Delete', the image still remains.

Okay, I got the image deleted by request (I left a note for the Getty team.) Now, Ive uploaded the same image again but I still can't work out how to mark it as editorial. If I click on the text on the top left of the screen that says: "Submission Batch: iStock Creative Image", nothing happens. Maybe iStock have become like Fotolia - no editorial submissions.

Hi there, have you tried qHero? All you have to do to submit editorials, is to choose "Editorial" when uploading to qHero. It is super easy, very intuitive, and with the aid of AI you will most likely see your workflow improved quite a lot. You can reach us on [email protected] and sign up at www.qhero.com.

Best, Kasper.
