I had a batch of 14 images, they reviewed and approved 4. since then nothing has happened. I have submitted images after this batch and they all get approved in the usual 10 min, but this one batch just sits there after only reviewing 4 of the 14 images.

this normal with istock?

Seems to be, from what I'm reading. ESP is a bunch of foetid dingoes' kidneys. Some people are reporting files sitting approved but not on sale for weeks, even months.
Still, I'm also reading that new files aren't selling much, so it probably doesn't matter much.
Of course, that's anecdotal evidence. A few people seem to get getting through OK, but obviously people are more likely to report if they have a problem.
Contact their support, it's the only possible way of getting any help.

Yes, I am reading this too. But also for Shutterstock, Fotolia, etc.

The fact is that on the forums you generally find the unhappy people, the unsatisfied ones and the ones with some problem.
So we often have the impression that nothing works and that everybody has a lot of problems.
In reality those probably represent no more than 0,1% of the microstock users.

99,9% of happy people (the silent majority) have no reason to come on the forum to complain

About images stuck in queue.
I have just noticed that on CanStockPhotos I have images in queue since January!
I asked them why, and they answered me that it is because the images needs a second review
But they did not tell me why I needed to wait 5 months to get a second review
I'm speechless

Oh yeah and here I know many HATE istock.

So far though I don't have much for complains. Images Still Sell for me and since the new year sales have at least doubled and twice trippled what I was doing years past. So as it sits now still worth it to upload.

Just still adapting to the new esp setup so not sure what to expect anymore.
