Title: impact of spring sale
Post by: stokfoto on March 22, 2008, 19:16
I was wondering  if  you noticed a certain impact of IS's spring sale, either positive or negative?

my sales seems to be pretty much the same as last month ,which was a BME  but I expect a slight drop in overall income at  the end of the month.

did not notice anything, sales are slightly up, but so is the size of the portfolio.

did not notice anything, sales are slightly up, but so is the size of the portfolio.

if that is the case for many people I think, that is once again proof of that buyers don't mind paying a bit more,if lower prices didn't result in  more sales. I wish this would be  noticed  by the other agencies especially those that are just getting more involved with subscriptions

Sales are about the same as last month, which was a my Best Month in over two years. (My previous best month was in 2006) But this month my downloads are coming from three or so images, where last month they seem to come from all over my portfolio. I'm sure they've been fiddling with Best Match again.

Sales down a lot over last month. But I have a small portfolio there so just ebb and flow I would imagine.

I can't say I see any effect.  Overall earnings are already the second best in the past six months, but February was my BME there by a large difference.  I don't keep track of sizes sold, so I don't know if there was an increase of larger sizes due to that.
