Title: invalid video file
Post by: Epsilonth on June 12, 2014, 10:43
iS says my files are invalid. These files got through Pond5 and SS just fine.

Here are my compressor settings. Is it because of automatic fps?

edit: found it. there are spaces in my file name

You cannot use compressor for Istock. You need to use MPEG stream clip, which is a free download.

I use compressor everyday for iStock! I know some people are having problems but I haven't had any.

compressor is fine! I just missed this kinda hidden guideline! http://www.istockphoto.com/docs/FTPUserManual.pdf (http://www.istockphoto.com/docs/FTPUserManual.pdf) thanks!

Weird. Some files are not fed into the system. They just stay in their folders like nothing happened.

Yea, I was told by their video admin that they are having issues with Compressor and to use MPEG Streamclip.  That solved all my upload problems. They are working on an upgraded system that should eliminate the need for folders, etc.  Can't wait for that to happen!!

Just an FYI some of the IS contributors, including me, have been asked to help test a beta version.  So, yes, they are working on something. Will it actually work? That is to be determined.
