Mine, also over the last 40, seem more evenly spread - 2012 though is surprisingly low.  However, I shouldn't think any of these figures are really very meaningful unless we take into account how many images were uploaded in each year, and in any case it's a very small sample.

But it's fun anyway, so for whatever they're worth, these are mine:

2006:    2
2007:    3
2008:    7
2009:    7
2010:    4
2011:   11
2012:    3
2013:    3

My last 20:

2007:9
2008:2
2009: 1
2010: 2
2011: 4
2012: 2
(I've only loaded one file so far this year and it has only one recorded view.)
Hard to interpret: is it best match, or is it long lightboxed images. As well as extremely few views, I can see that images uploaded since late September (that I left on iS) are very seldom lightboxed, whereas in the Good Old Days, many files were lightboxed within a week or two.

Tick, have you read some of that stuff they post on the IS forum???  Our sales are going down like the Titanic (We Luv IS!). They screwed us over with that Getty deal (We luv IS anyway!).  Sean got the boot (Oh, they'd never do that to US....We Luv IS!)
Yup, pet rats.
Sorry, kinda off-topic.
I think most of the people with bad sales are not writing we love Istock, and the people that are writing it have good sales.

Or the woo-yayers have 50 images in their port, don't have much skin in the game and think making 16% is FANTASTIC!!!! ;)

Probably the same ones who think 25c a sale at SS is great news.

I loathe Istock for what they did with the site (bugs) and the Google Deal (even if I wasn't affected...yet), but I must admit that Istock still brings in a "decent" sum every few weeks. It's a tie with SS at the moment, they're fighting for the #1 spot. It's still heck of a lot better than DT, 123RF and Fotolia, to name but a few.

But if you're a newcomer, you'll experience less regular sales. Still, it's worth it, providing you use DeepMeta or StockSubmitter to upload. And if you're willing to run the risk of them giving your images away with lousy deals.

I still find it worthwhile to be there too, although I haven't been uploading new work the last couple of months.

Istock is still my #2 site for income, but I suspect that's because I have a strong history there and a fairly successful port that keeps selling, although not in the numbers it used to.

For an unestablished new uploader, I'm not sure if it would be worthwhile or not.

16    2009
25    2010

24    2012
