I just came across a post regarding a rip off on IS forums. A contributor evidently had 11 DLs on at least one day in the first 4 days, but got payed just for 2. A few days ago, when contributors reported the missing revenues for the first 4 days of January, IS said they will add the missing money for the first 4 days today, but did the opposite; erased the DLs that they didn't pay for due to a glitch.

Well my missing payment for a PP download on January, 3rd is showing up since yesterday - nine weeks after the fact :P - but at least its there...

It seems to be a problem affecting Jan 4th, when halfway through that day's notifications they switched from reporting sales independently of earnings to posting both together. When they added the earnings for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd, they removed sales that didn't have associated earnings from the 4th.
This is pretty obviously one more computing foul-up rather than a deliberate rip-off (they do the ripping off by legal means) but it is something that must be corrected.

Ah, okay - I didn't know the problem was specific for January, 4th - and yes, why would the rip cents off us illegally when they can take dollars by legal means >:(

Yes another reason not to participate. For the peanuts they pay for PP DL's, I'm amazed any of you participate at all.

I like peanuts. They are delicious and contain protein. :D

I like peanuts. They are delicious and contain protein. :D
They are of course not actually a nut but a legume (like a potato) and similarly contain a lot of carbohydrate which can make you fat. Like sweetcorn (which is actually a grain not a vegetable) they are also fairly indigestable for humans which is why they tend to exit your body looking much like they went in.
Peanuts are best avoided in favour of proper nuts to be honest. A bit like the PP should be avoided in favour of proper microstock agencies.

In additon to peanuts I like cashews best, and pistachios second. Any lectures on those nuts, professor? ;)

If I see $5 bill on the street I don't not pick it up because it's not a $100 bill

You wouldn't if it means you can't grab that $50 on the breeze at eye level.

Maybe in the rarified atmosphere of your mountaintop $50 bills float by in the breeze, but down below in the peanut fields, ummmm, not so much.
I am donating my next two months of PP earnings to my local animal shelter and the earthquake victims in Japan. Yes, it's just peanuts, but I am pretty sure these charities won't mind.

Potatoes are tubers.
