Title: Istock Agreement and Getty
Post by: Piens on January 07, 2015, 04:19
Hello! Title says all. I really need more detail explanation, i am not strong in these law changes and new agreement changes etc. Not a lawyer, and i really hope you can guide me in few questions, i know some of you understand these new changes better and can help me and other people who don't know if the changes are mayor.

I am not exclusive photographer, i do upload on more than one stock. With all this merge with Getty, should i worry about my portfolio? I mean, i know Getty is mostly an Exclusive stock only, and when istock merges, does all my work become exclusive to ? Sounds redicilous, but you never know... Should i worry about that? or i can just accept agreement and ignore the changes, because they are not affecting me that much? I am from Europe, and i guess the TAX changes not going to affect me much either ?

I really appreciate for your advice, hope you will help me.

It's mainly an internal reorganisation, it doesn't mean your images are being made exclusive.

As far as I know there is nothing to worry about (except the tax issue, which you know about).
