It's good they announced it, but not good (a) that it happened or (b) that they don't feel the need to explain how this got effed up.

The really bad news is no money for another week (we already have to wait one week) - they keep our money for an extra week and pay no interest on it. Cash flow management of this sort isn't unheard of for businesses but it sucks for those waiting to get paid.

Really, really annoying.  Maybe they are going to switch to bi-monthly payouts?  The timing would be right for that.   Keep an eye out for another announcement that you have to put your requests in by the mid-month Monday for the end month Friday payout  Woo HOO interest!

We can't stop iStock from doing pretty much any money-earning (for them) thing they want with payouts, but we can be very loud and vocal about any such shenanigans if they occur.

Right now, with no explanation it's hard to say whether this is just a one off glitch or a move to stringing us out even longer before we get our money.

Trust with them being a negative number for most of us right now, it's a really bad time for  a glitch, if that's what it is.

There will be no changes that Lobo is aware of at this time.

I just seriously hope this is an admin snafu, and not a symptom of a cashflow problem.

When unprecedented royalty drops are followed by supplier payments being withheld, questions are bound to be asked.

...and usually not answered.

It's already annoying to wait 1 to 2 weeks for the money. Now it's ridiculous. Soon we will get a queue for receiving payments or what

Assuming its 10,000 at the current rate, its approximately 40 cents of lost interest (i'm being generous in my interest rate)

So I'm sure interest isn't the priority.  Probably cash flow timing

I'm not with paypal, but all these glitches at istock are really starting to wear me out. There's something new nearly every single day, not to mention the permanent shortcomings, like new images showing up after 24 hours. Which other agency copes with their new material like that? Or is it a speciality of the market leader?

I wonder if IS will stay the market leader with all of the problems happening one after another. It almost seems like they are purposely trying to drive contributors away.

Let me answer that for you...NO! Apparently IS doesn't know how to mass email...in the 5 or 6 years I've been there, the only email I've gotten is the newsletter or responses to email's I have sent. Never any heads-up type of emails.
