Hello people!

Im preparing to post my first 3 illustrations to istock, and i am preparing for a long time as i am kind of afraid. I read all their rules etc, i just want to ask you for that three illustrations. Do they must be different themes or it can be for example Christmas theme but 3 totally different motives, subjects? I have some with Santa at his home, other will be snow landscape with Santa and raideers and final will be kids riding on snow. Can i do that? Or i must send for example Christmas theme, Shopping and Food? Thank you in advance! Ooh i also wanted to ask you, if i can submit one work here to you to give me opinions can i send this to istock evaluation? Thank you people! Angela

I would suggest making them as different from one another as possible. If you're accepted, you can always immediately upload all of your Christmas/Santa Claus files.

Sure, I think the folks here would be happy to take a look at your files.

Thank you very much :)

Here are samples. Just Snowman is too simple i am going to work on him more and the third one is in progress  i will send it when im done. I dont know what to think, it doesn have open paths and other technical mistakes (rasters etc) but i dont know if it is appropriate for exam anyway. Thank you very much! :)

I like them! I think they would be accepted. Just be careful of the transparency around the stars in the Santa Claus illustration. I know there have been some issues with transparencies (I avoid them), and I don't think you really need it.

Thanks!! I hope they will...Ok, i didn know that, i just knew that i must do shine with multiply and screen masks ( in the beggining i was doing it with radial gradient and i opacity black to 0%  :D and a friend told me that is a BIG mistake) .Thanks for update!

I'm going to say iStock will say they are too simple - just my guess.

In the last, it bothers me that the only connection between the chair/sled and the reindeer is the reins.  I'd expect him to pitch forward!

I was accepted with simpler initial illustrations than these. I think harnesses on the reindeer might be helpful, but if you look at other Santa/reindeer vectors on iStock some of the reindeer are attached just by reins or nothing at all. I don't think you need to be as literal with illustrations.

Thank you! :) I will work more on them until sunday and then im going to send...Unfortuntly i can t do technicaly much better because im a begginer in Illustrator  but i want them to see that i can and will be better and better, i believe that is important to evaluation..i hope :) Thank you Shelma and Sean i will consider all!

You have a high risk of rejection unless you diversify your subjects..

These are all christmas + winter images and istock doesn't like that for initial submission..

I would pick only 1 of these (whichever one you believe is best) and 2 more completely different subjects..
