Title: istock partner program
Post by: mtkang on September 02, 2010, 04:39
Hi all,

I would like to have this thread to understand what is going on with istock partner program.

We have the choice to opt in the files we want to be in partner programs..

what i understand is the partner program means to sell images and eps vector you opt in as $0.25 (if you are not exclusive), in thinkstock.com and photos.com, just this 2 website right?

I have opted in a few files but i notice it seems there are only some files are appearing on both site, i do a search 'xxxxx(your username)' and see only a few images are there. Does it take time for images to be available for partner program?

As far as I know the sync of images people opt-in to those partner sites is broken for several months (no new images that are being opted-in are available there).

There is no info on when this will be fixed. All question I saw in IS forums about this were answered in way like "no info" by IS admins.

Doesn't it look like they are much more interested in selling the images they own and ones from the Getty collections?  I just hope this site doesn't do well and the buyers go to the sites that have my portfolio.

Very nicely summed up.  It took me about 6 paragraphs to say the same thing on the other thread.   :-X
